Getting Started & Your First Class
Your first lesson will be 1:1 with an instructor, where you will be introduced to our school, basic skills and techniques. NO experience required! Our safe environment is designed to get you moving and having fun!
Yes — and you should! Your first class is on us, no strings attached. Sign up online or give us a call to book your visit.
We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled class time. This gives us a chance to tour the facility, introduce you to the instructor, and ensure you are perfectly set up and comfortable before hitting the mat!
Athletic clothes and a water bottle. That’s it. We’ll handle everything else. If you decide to stick around, we’ll fill you in on uniforms and gear then.
For the first class, athletic clothing is fine. Once enrolled, students will receive a uniform (called a gi) as part of their registration package or can purchase one at the front desk.

Programs, Style & Curriculum
We offer classes for students as young as 3 years old, all the way through adult programs. Our classes are broken down into age-appropriate groups to ensure the best learning environment.
We specialize in martial arts. Each style focuses on discipline, fitness, and self-defense.
We use a structured, step-by-step curriculum that safely guides students from day one all the way to Black Belt and beyond. Our programs are tailored by age and experience level to maximize both technical skill and personal growth.
Belt Testing occurs 4x per year. Students are eligible to belt test when they receive 2 progress stripes and an invitation to testing. Qualifications include class attendance and participation, as well as behavior and character at home and at school. Remember this is about developing leaders not just kicking and punching!
Once an invitation to Belt Testing is received you will get a registration link to select your belt testing date and time. The $50 is linked to this invitation and includes the belt testing itself (which includes board breaking), the next belt upon successful completion, the promotion certificate for your new rank and your graduation ceremony!

Safety, Location & Special Programs

Yes! Safety is our top priority! Our curriculum is designed to set a foundation and build upon it. Skills and drills are created to give a student with no prior martial arts experience the tools to succeed at each rank level!
Once students reach a certain level and begin controlled sparring, they’ll need approved safety gear. We’ll let you know when it’s time to purchase equipment.
Yes, throughout the year we offer specialty camps! These include Martial Arts training, games and character-building activities!
No, we do not offer after-school pickup programs.
We do! Our martial arts birthday parties are a blast — complete with fun games, board breaking, and a mini lesson. Best of all, we handle the setup and cleanup. Contact us to check available dates!
We observe major holidays such as New Year’s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Our student body receives advance communication regarding these dates. For weather closures or any unexpected events all families are notified via call, text, email, and/or the student app. We prioritize using all forms of communication to keep everyone informed!
